A friend of mine asked me to sell a small part of his record collection. To begin, we are listing a lot of 25 classic LPs of the punk/post-punk era, all original pressings from the late 70’s and early 80’s. Check out my other items!

VERY IMPORTANT: due to a vacation trip, WE’LL ONLY BE ABLE TO DISPATCH THE LPs ON NOVEMBER 27TH, approximately a week after the auction's end. Thus, if you plan to buy/win this and/or other LPs, please always have this is mind.

Here, for your consideration, we have a RARE vinyl copy of the crucial LP Los Angeles, by X, an original US release from 1980 on the Slash Records label, catalog # SR-104.

This is the very first pressing of this mandatory punk album, not a later reissue or bootleg.

White labels with black writing.

The original printed inner sleeve is included.

Textured cover.

No barcode.

CONDITION:

We do our best to grade conservatively, so that you are happy with your purchase.

Also, we try to specify any imperfections present on the disc, the label, and the sleeve (cover) of the LP.

Nevertheless, for an even better evaluation of the conditions of the item, please take a thorough look at the attached photos. They are part of the description and worth more than any words we could write.

All photos are of our actual items. We do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get.

If, after reading the whole description and examining the photos closely and attentively, you still have doubts or need further information (matrix/runout etchings, for instance) about the condition of the LP, please don't hesitate to contact us. As in life, clear and polite communication prevents a lot of problems.

RECORD: VG+

Record only visually graded, not play graded.

The record looks clean and beautiful, with no deep scratches.

There are some very superficial scratches and hairlines, and several sleeve scuffs.

Despite the condition of the record, remember it's a used record. There might be occasional clicks and pops, especially in quieter passages.

The record labels are pretty good, with no writing, a few spindle marks, and some wear around the spindle hole.

In view of the different record cleaning preferences of each person, we won’t clean or wash the record; we strongly recommend the buyer make a good clean prior to playing the record.

SLEEVE: VG+

The sleeve is very nice, with no writing, no tears, no splits, and only light shelf wear.

Ring wear becoming visible, especially on the top of rear cover.

Some wear (light discoloration) on the top central area of rear cover (see picture 4), around John Doe and Exene heads and shoulders.

Some creases on the front and rear cover. A more prominent crease on the top right area of rear cover, coming from the spine (see picture 5).

Light rubbing on the spine, top and bottom edges, with some discoloration.

Corners slightly dented/bent, with some rubbing also present.

Spine almost fully readable, with a notable damage near the top corner (see picture 5).

In general, still a beautiful cover.

All records will be packed carefully in LP mailers with the vinyl removed from its outer sleeve to avoid damages to it whilst in transit.

We combine shipping for multiple orders.

We can only ship to the address provided by PayPal unless approved in advance.

Local pickup is available for Houston area buyers.
