Peel sessions, live material and rare singles from this classic early seventies Scottish prog / psych band who were similar to Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come and possibly more deranged. Apparently they used to demolish a car on stage as part of their live act!!

The Scottish band The Jury moved to London in 1969, changed their name to Writing on the wall and very soon became regulars at the capital's premier nightspot Middle Earth. This, their only album, was released later the same year and is a tour-de-force of Hammond organ driven unhinged psych/progressive hard rock, with a singer who sounded not unlike Arthur Brown.

I use top quality packaging materials - so all my items arrive with you, the buyer, in top notch condition.

Please note: all records are removed from their sealed packaging UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE. Once removed from their packaging, they are kept in a 250g polysleeve which ensures protection. The record(s) and its sleeves are then placed between 2 stiffeners & sent in a strong card envelope. This ensures that everything arrives exactly as you’d want it to.
