A cornerstone of late‑’80s Boston hardcore, Balance Of Terror captures Wrecking Crew at their most ferocious — fast, abrasive and unfiltered. Originally recorded at Syncro Sound in 1988 and released in 1989, the album delivers raw speed, breakneck riffs and street‑level intensity. This 2017 reissue on grey vinyl preserves the underground authenticity of the original while giving collectors a clean, high‑quality pressing. Produced by Peter Schenkman, Rick McNeely and the band, it remains a defining document of Boston’s hardcore scene.
