Original 1971 UK FIRST PRESSING 8-track debut LP from Wings with Paul and Linda picture labels, complete with the original yellow paper inner and pinched spine picture sleeve with 'An Apple Record' credit on the back. The Excellent condition record would be graded Near Mint except for some surface marks on side one, which don’t affect play, and the cover and inner sleeve are both in Excellent Condition. See pics. A very nice collector’s copy of this historic post-Beatles McCartney album.

This debut LP from Wings at the beginning of their meteoric career is hardly ever offered for sale in this condition.

This is the extremely rare real thing: a genuine 1971 UK first pressing in Excellent condition. The record is in near mint condition except for some surface marks on side one, which don’t affect play, and the cover and inner sleeve are both in Excellent condition. The LP is the original 1971 UK stereo LP, which was only played occasionally on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.

Wild Life is the debut album by Wings. Paul and Linda McCartney had worked with drummer Denny Seiwell on their prior album, Ram, and they added Denny Laine, the former leader of the Moody Blues, to that trio to become Wings – the rest is history.

After recording “Ram” with Linda McCartney around 1970, Paul McCartney decided to form a band named Wings. Without much notice, their first release, Wild Life was put together in about a week and released in 1971, containing the most rawness of any other Wings album. The album was not taken seriously, but in many fans’ opinions, it is a very huge landmark in McCartney’s recordings. For some it is one of his best albums. This album sounds like a session; a recording session in the studio that could have been labelled as a jam-out. It is still a very powerful album in the sense that it was recorded in a week, and some of the lyrics in the songs of Side Two mean a lot, and of course, the title track means the most, and contains a very dark message.

A fantastic time warp example of this rarity in amazing condition, a true investment grade item - get it while you can!
