Description
OK this is the original 1967 copy of the really rare Wimple Winch single Rumble on Mersey Square South with b side Typical British Workmanship not to be confused with the later large holed repressing. It is in the original Fontana sleeve catalogue number TF 781 recorded in mono. There are a few scuffs and a few scratches on both sides of this record,however it does play quite well without too much audable noise. Record collector value 200+ well worth a bid.
Note, I have just managed to play this record and on side A i found that there was quite a bit of noise at the beginning of the record but it did improve as it went on. It did not jump but there was an audible click. The B side was worse with crackles from beginning to end, However your equipment may be better than mine as i found a broken wire on the tonearm. Still a really rare record but not in the best of condition so please bear this in mind when bidding. This item is described as honestly as i can as my own equipment is very dated, however my garrard plays this pretty well without too much noise.
