RUMBLE ON MERSEY SQUARE SOUTH
TYPICAL BRITISH WORKMANSHIP
1966 UK Fontana TF-781. Very rare original uk pressing of this brilliant legendary pounding Fuzz-Psych-Freakbeat 45. The good news Is that it's an extremely rare original uk first pressing.
The bad news is that the 45 is dished / warped. There Is also a very small kink right at the start of play, & so this warp & small kink prevents the 45 from playing properly. Now i know that there are certain ways & methods to fix warps & kinks In records, but, I'm not prepared to try them myself on such a rare 45, for fear of me making the problems even worse. But I am certain that somebody out there In the know could fix this 45 so that It would play properly. If you are that person, then you will have yourselves a pretty good copy of this super rare & always In demand Psych/ Freakbeat gem.
Apart from the warp & kink, the vinyl Is actually In very good condition. There are some light scuff lines & tiny hairlines, but there are no noticeable nasty or deep surface marks that would cause repeated clicks or pops. There are no raised surface marks to be felt when you lightly brush your fingertips over the records surface. And so If the warp & kink were fixed, then this rare 45 should play well throughout with no bad audio playback problems.
The labels are In very good condition with no bad marks or defects at all. Just some light general wear due to the records age, but as you can see from the photos, the labels are clean and are actually still In great shape.
The original Fontana records paper sleeve Is also In very good condition. Clean with no marks, rips, or tears, just a very small sticker front, top, right.
