Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Wayne Shorter “Speak No Evil” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4194.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster.  The coated New York 23 cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; 1/8” wear at the top right corner; ¾” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; age toning at the top and left edge of the front.  Blue Note illustrated inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Elvin Jones.  $400.00.
