Description

W.W.W. - BURNIN' RED IVANHOE - On John Peel's Dandelion Records, marketed via Polydor - 2310 145 SUPER. The lp is in Excellent condition for its age (1971) and is a great piece of Kraut Rock/Jazz fusion. The inner paper and plastic sleeve is in good condition; the gatefold jacket  is marked and scuffed with two price mark tears top left and right corners front.  Recorded in Copenhagen in the Rosenberg Studio.  "Imagine someone walking into a room, dressed like, and looking like a man named William Wilson, who is already present. raising his hat the man says calmly £Good evening, my name is Wilfred of Ivanhoe". "Than heavens" retorts William Wilson, "I come from Kristiana." The three pieces on side one and the first track on side two tell the story of Rowena who sets out on a journey to the mysterious country Kaske from her kitchen in Croydon."
