WWI 1/4" Edison Diamond Disc 'ROUND HER NECK SHE WEARS A YELLER RIBBON / TIPPERARY

Unfortunately we're unable to enjoy the playing of this c1917 WWI 1/4" Edison Diamond Disc recording (#50472) of "'Round Her Neck She Wears a Yeller Ribbon (For Her Lover Who Is Fur, Fur Away)" and "The Further It Is From Tipperary - Odds and Ends of 1917". We heard slightly different variations of "…yellow ribbon" - all, however, portraying a lover's lament for her lost (or presumed lost) Soldier.

Other than some general light scuffing on the non-recorded center, and a small thin chip on the non-recorded edge (see pics), the record remains in wonderful vintage condition!
