ORIGINAL US ISSUE with G/F Sleeve.

EXCELLENT US Psych Rock....with some great songs & music and brilliant femvox on most tracks.....Joynson's comment of 'disappointing' is totally wrong in his 'Fuzz, Acid....' book.

Side 1 is particularly good with all excellent tracks....the opening 'Love, Love...' which has great vocals from Ed Wool and also has some nice acid guitar, a great version of 'Combination Of The Two' which is easily as good as the Big Brother version, a brilliant mellow track 'If They Left Us Alone Now' with some beautiful femvox from Claudia Wool and is probably the highlight of the album.....plus 2 more good tracks.

Side 2 opens with 3 more excellent tracks, a great version of Chip Taylor's 'Any Way That You Want Me' again with beautiful femvox, the catchy 'It Was Such A Lovely Night' and a great version of Neil Diamond's 'The Boy With The Green Eyes' once more with nice femvox and some good wah-wah guitar.

The only let down on the whole album is the closing 'Funky Walk' which is overlong and does not really go anyplace....but everything before it is top notch which makes this a keeper (I have another copy of my own).

Starting to get really sought after now that people know what a great album it is. 

This copy has a smallish 'X' written on the front in black which is hard to see as the sleeve is black, record looks clean but plays a bit noisy in places.

Condition is EX-/VG+ (cover/record), cover has no cutout.

POSTAGE:

UK: £2.50 for the 1st LP (£2.90 for heavy sleeves/vinyl if over 500g/2LP Sets) then all additional LPs are FREE (any amount) by 2nd class/standard parcels or courier depending on the size of the order. 1st class is a bit extra but the amount depends on the weight, please ask if you want it. CDs are FREE.

7" Singles: £1 first, 50p each after.

Note: If the value is over £50 and weighs over 1 Kg, the flat rate cost will increase to £4.50 which will include insurance/compensation, which is still less than cost.

EUROPE: 4 GBP for the 1st LP then additional single LPs are just 1.50 GBP each up to 5 or 6 LPs in total (under 2Kg), then starts over again with a separate package.

2LP sets: 5.50 GBP, additional single LPs are 1.50 GBP, additional 2LPs sets are 3 GBP.

1st CD is 1.50 GBP then additional CDs are 50p each.

7" Singles: 2 GBP, then 50p each.

For larger orders (up to 5 or 10 Kg limits, usually 16/17 or 33/34 LPs), I can send altogether in one package by courier for less depending on the destination.

REST OF WORLD: 7 GBP for the 1st LP then additional single LPs are 3 GBP each up to 6 LPs in total (under 2Kg), then starts over again with a separate package.

2LP sets: 9.50 GBP, additional single LPs are 3 GBP each, additional 2LP sets are 5.50 GBP.

1st CD is 2.50 GBP then additional CDs are 1 GBP each.

7" Singles: 2.50 GBP, then 1 GBP each.

Surface mail is available on request for cheap LPs only, to the Rest of the World but delivery times are 6 to 8 weeks minimum!

Insurance/Registered Mail outside the UK is extra: 5 GBP for values up to 50 GBP, 8 GBP for values over 50 GBP.

DSR's

I don't think most buyers realise how strict ebay's policy of DSR's actually is.

Do you realise that any rating less than 5 has a negative impact on a seller's performance? Even though a 4 is supposed to be regarded as a good score it actually isn't good enough!

What I find particularly baffling are buyers who have left low ratings (1, 2 & 3) for dispatch time when clearly they have not looked at the date of posting on the postage label and seem to have gone on how long a package has taken to get to them which of course is entirely down to the quality of the postal services which the seller has no control over.

I dispatch all my packages within 2 working days of being paid despite having as many as 40/50 packages to deal with at a time....yet the odd buyer has still left 1 & 2 stars for dispatch time!?!

I've now been forced by ebay's DSR policy to send a confirmation email on receiving payment even though I'd rather spend that time getting packages ready. I've always marked all items as dispatched in ebay....and buyers are supposed to receive ebay emails when this is done.

So please try and give 5s for all DSR's.

MINT:

RECORD: PERFECT....AS NEW CONDITION, SO NO DETEORIATION IN THE SOUND QUALITY…..bear in mind that not all ‘new’ LPs are Mint because of the quality of the pressing etc....also SEALED/UNPLAYED LPs are sold as is.....

COVER: AS NEW CONDITION WITH NO OBVIOUS DEFECTS.......except maybe a deletion hole/cutout on a SEALED LP.

M- :

RECORD: SLIGHTY WORSE THAN M, LP may have several surface marks due to removal from it's sleeve etc....but certainly NO audible scratches....LP may have the occasional light crackle/hiss...but still in great condition.

COVER: SHOWS SIGNS OF BEING HANDLED WITH SLIGHT CREASING/WEAR...or may be a M cover with a very slight split seam or very slight showing of ring wear or a very slight sticker tear, but not all of these together.

EX:

RECORD: MOST REGUARLY PLAYED LPs KEPT WITH CARE FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY....LP may play with more hiss/crackle but not louder than the music......sometimes it may be a M or M- LP with one slight audible mark or a very slight edge warp but not affecting it.

COVER: SLIGHTLY MORE WEAR/CREASING/BENDING even some slight ring wear.....or may be a M or M- cover with a split seam(s) and minor sticker tears, but still nice.

VG+ :

RECORD: LP PLAYS WITH MORE NOISE DUE TO EITHER DIRT OR SLIGHTLY STRONGER SURFACE MARKS BUT STILL IS IN A VERY LISTENABLE CONDITION.....or it may be an LP which plays say M- but has one or a few audible marks/slight warp etc.....but still no skips/jumps.

COVER: HAS QUITE A LOT OF CEASING/BENDING often with FADING/RING WEAR/ STICKER TEARS/TEARS....or may be an EX cover with a split seam(s), but still acceptable.

VG:

RECORD: THE SOUND QUALITY OF THE LP IS AFFECTED BY SURFACE MARKS/ AUDIBLE MARKS or DIRT etc....but still plays through and is still in quite a REASONABLE condition.....it may be an LP which plays EX but has audible marks.....

COVER: PLENTY OF CREASING/BENDING/FADING/RING WEAR but still in one piece.

G: LP still plays through but is very noisy due to scratches/dirt etc....but still not totally trashed!!!

COVER: AS VG BUT TORN and starting to fall apart.

F/P: LP is trashed...for ornament purposes only...

+/-: Slightly better/worse than stated.
