Another from my personal collection purchased from new and only been played two or three  times ever!  A superbe and very collectable album unbeleivable to find in this awesome condition! The original members originaly from my home town of Devon! You will find (no) scratches on this album the vinyl will be hard to surpass having been stored seperately from the sleeve for more than 40 years unbeleivable! The most desirable and 1st UK pressing with the 2nd matrix variation  -2L -2L Matrix endings and ''1'' to ''1'' mother stampers both sides (Earliest stampers produce the best possible audio quality available on vinyl in my opinion) (No)  loud constant clicks or Pops, No Distortion, No Grooveware! (Please note, please allow for isolated static/crackle/ticks perhapes heard in isolated quieter isolated places only.) I would grade the audio Very Near mint throughout for the most part! Beautiful clear and vibrant bassey feel throughout only found like this on the earliest pressings! The original ist issue un laminated gate fold cover is also in top condition throughout and I dought that you could find a better copy of this cover in my opinion! Graded better than excellent to excellent plus!
For me the audio quality has always been my prime interest with vinyl.
Audio graded at least excellent plus to very Near Mint in my opinion!

Wishbone Ash are a British rock band who achieved particular success in the early and mid-1970s.

Formed in My home town of Devon in 1969 out of the ashes of the group The Empty Vessels, which had featured Wishbone Ash's founding members Martin Turner and Steve Upton, the original line-up was completed by Andy Powell and Ted Turner!

Argus is the third album by the rock band Wishbone Ash.

It is the most popular Wishbone Ash album and widely considered the greatest by fans and reviewers.

It was named "Album of the Year" in the 1972 year-end issue of Sounds Magazine.

The album features a blend of progressive rock, folk, and heavy metal, and is considered a landmark album in the progression of twin-lead guitar harmonization.

Later adopted by bands such as Iron Maiden and Umphrey's McGee!.

With the success of Argus, the band also became one of the most popular live attractions of the day!!!.

The Vinyl

This is the original heavier and deeper grooved type of vinyl! On visual inspection this looks like new\AS NEW!! I find it hard to see a blemish on the playing surface! Any marks that could possibly be seen in strong light would only be light whispy sleeve removal marks only! There are (no) needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops. This looks in my opinion almost as unplayed condition! ( I can't see any spider marks around the spindle hole) Unbeleivabl for 47 years old!

The Audio Quality

I have play tested this awesome looking vinyl at very loud volume on a top system (two times) prior to listing! In breif, this audio was as stunning throughout. Superb audio seperation, Rich bassey feel only found like this on the earliest pressings with the earliest stampers! no loud constant clicks or pops and certainly no distortion at all! (Note: Please allow for isolated static/crackle/ticks that may be heard in isolated quieter places may be heard on some sensitive systems) This audio can not be surpassed on any other format in my personal opinion for vibrancy! This audio is graded at excellent plus to very near near mint for the most part in my opinion!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static/ticks (not consistant throughout the audio) This is a genuine vinyl (not a reissue) that is 47 years old and would have originally been played on a 35 year olsd system!!!!! In my opinion this will produce the very top audio throughout! LOOKS AND SOUNDS BARELY EVER PLAYED AT ALL!

The labels

These feature the original (1st UK issue) Black 'MCA' labels(only early press) in awesome condition AMAIZINGLY (no)  spider marks can be seen!  (no) spindle ware the hole is perfectly round!

The cover

This is the original ''Robert Stace'' Unlaminated gatefold cover! with (no) splits or tares (NO) splits or tares. No real main creases to talk of just very minor half moon type that are only noticable if scrutinised and amaizingly (no) nasty storage ware to the corners at all! Please note! It is hard to see any real rubbing to this covers edges, any there is is very minimal! remember this is 47 years old but truly exceptional condition (see photos) these are very very hard to find in this condition a superbe example! (no) writing or nasty names! Strong and straight!  this is the original so hard to find in this condition after 47 years! I would grade this at least excellent to Excellent plus!

The record sleeve

The original poly lined sleeve has just very few creasings (no) splits or tares and is stored seperately from the vinyl!

THIS IS AN ARCHIVE COPY NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE AWESOME!
