On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Traffic called "Mr Fantasy" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Pink Island 'Circle' logo label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS TRAFFIC'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! AND IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, THAT IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE ISLAND LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! INCREDIBLY, THIS LP HAS SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES - THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!! FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS MUCH THICKER VINYL THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! SECONDLY IT HAS 'HEAVILY' AND FULLY 'TEXTURED' LABELS (LATER ONES DONT - THEY ARE 'SMOOTH' INSTEAD!)!!!! AND LASTLY, THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS 'A/B' MATRIX ENDINGS (WITH LARGE 'STAMPED' LETTERING!) AND WITH NO NUMBERS ADDED!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' PINK ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'MACHINE STAMPED' A/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD LAMINATED FLIPBACK 'CENTRE OPENING' MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! The Cat. No is ILP 961 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, only 3 or 4 absolutely TINY surface marks, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! There is also an ULTRA faint 'bag sweat' trace at the VERY beginning of one side ONLY - though this is very VERY hard to spot indeed!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, NO background sound (apart from a VERY slight touch on 1 run on groove ONLY!), and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold Laminated Flipback 'Centre Opening' MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (still FULLY Laminated!), NO sticker marks, only some VERY slight 'touching in' to the spinal corners, NO nasty holes to the spinal corners (most do!), NO edge splits, only VERY slight corner wear to the outer corners (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, only a MEGA thin line of laminate lifting along the rear spinal edge, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
