AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR TONS MORE STUFF, WITH MORE BEING ADDED AS TIME PERMITS. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** This is a very early audiophile LP titled "Concert" by James B. Welch - Organist (W-177) (1977). It is so early that the album liner notes talk about Dave Wilson working at Cutter Labrotories and doing audio projects like this one on the side. This was before he made it big in the loudspeaker world. It fact this was recorded 4 years before the first WAMM speaker was created. -------- Musical selections are from Walther, Haydn, Bach, Buxtehude, Durufle, and Vierne. The Walther and Haydn selections were performed on the Flentrop organ at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, California. The remaining selections were performed on a Moller Organ om Hagerstown, Maryland. -------- This wonderful virgin vinyl pressing is an extremely dynamic recording, and is quite hard to find. -------- The whole album looks like it came from the record store yesterday. The record is in pristine condition with no trace of having been played. No scratches or marks of any kind. The jacket is perfect with no splits or bends. It is still in the shrink wrap with an original $17.95 store sticker on it. A truely beautiful recording. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Please see my other auctions for more great MFSL, half speed, direct disc, and other audiophile items.
