WILLIAM SHATNER of STAR TREK RARE LP 'The Transformed Man' 1968 DECCA Stereo DL-75043
Original 60's Extremely SCARCE album still shrink wrapped!One of the all time greatest and rarest albums of the 'Golden Throats' genre. Depending on your point of view, this is either a masterpiece or the worst album of all time. Words can't describe Captain Kirk's Shakespeare/LSD inspired renditions of the Beatles, Byrds & Bob Dylan. You'll have to hear it for yourself to believe it! Check your price guides on this one. Mint copies go for over $150.
There is no writing on the cover and as you can see from the photo, it's still in its original shrink wrap. I would rate it 9 out of 10. The only visible blemish is a small punch out hole in the top right hand corner. The spines are all in great condition.
There is no writing on either label which I would rate 9 out of 10. I've personally played the LP myself to guarantee that there are no skips. The vinyl is extremely shiny and sounds great. I held the album under a light bulb and there is one very light scratch on side one. Side two has one light, small scratch but these don't affect play. I would rate the vinyl a conservative 8 out of 10.
