Description
In 2005 Jack White bought the remaining 400 Bandai 8 portable record players and sold them at White Stripes gigs in the US and Europe. Five were on sale at each venue... So they were rare as hens' teeth. The Inchophone is Jack's name for the record player. It has been rated as one of music's most desirable pieces of memorabilia. Mine came from the Alexandra Palace gig in London, on 8th November 2005. Included are the six 3 inch singles that accompanied the Inchophone. I also include the live version of "The Denial Twist" recorded at the show and given away to everyone who was there. This version of "The Denial Twist" is not available anywhere else. The cov er art was designed by Jack White's favourite artist, Rob Jones (www.animalrummy.com). The Inchophone has never been unpacked and is therefore mint. The box has a slight dent in the lid's front edge which doesn't affect the contents (you can see it in the pic). As I said there were only 5 for sale and I got the last one! There is a seventh 3" single - the legendary "Top Secret" Fewer of these were produced. I'll be offering one later. I'll throw in a copy of the "Top Secret" cover with this (but no record).
