Description

Description:  Up for your consideration is an original soundtrack record for Disney's Song of The South. This issue features a red label on the vinyl record.

This soundtrack recording was released in conjunction with the 1956 re-release of the original 1946 film.  It's the first in the WDL-4000 series and one of the first albums produced for the Disneyland Records label. Under supervision and editing control of Tutti Camarata, the record includes the popular songs from the film as well as the score. 

The artists included on this record are James Baskett, Hall Johnson Choir, Hattie McDaniel, Johnny Lee, Nicodemus Stewart and Studio Choir.

Condition:  Record is very clean with only light markings and signs of play and handling. VG++ The front cover has moderate to heavy wear. Two sides are split.  Back show additional wear, a tape mark and some dirty areas. VG--
