Title:  The Wolfgang Dauner Group – Rischkas Soul

Original pressing from 1972 on BRAIN,1016.First pressing with green label and METRONOME written below BRAIN.The history of this record is still unkown to many collectors,so here it is:this LP was recorded at Tonstudio Bauer,November 28th 1969.The first release was a private pressing on “Dietrich Privat-Production”,there were 2 versions,one was called “Dietrich’s Soul”,and the otherone was called “Rischkas Soul”(the LP’s producer was Horst A.Rischka).These issues are incredible rare and high-priced(ca.500 Euro).They have a different,weaker (single)cover than the BRAIN issue,wich comes in a laminated foldout-cover with a great silver/yellow artwork and a cool photo of the band playing live inside.

Line-up:  Wolfgang Dauner/piano,organ & flute – Roland Wittich & Fred Braceful/drums – Eberhard Weber/bass & cello – Siegfried Schwab/guitar.

Tracks: Side 1: 1. Reading Machine, 2. Kamasutram, 3. Blues Far Out ---- Side 2: 1. Jive Samba, 2. Flute-Woman, 3. Just Bring It Out.

Recorded in the same year like the OIMELS-record,this LP is loaded with rare-grooves,pych/kraut-jazz,fuzz-guitars,cooking hammond and more.4 tracks written by Dauner,1 by Schwab plus a wicked version of Nat Adderley’s “Jive Samba”.Highly recommended!Please look for THE OIMELS-LP in my auctions!

Condition:the record looks mint-/ex+++ with just slightest superficial sings of having been played.It plays in mint- all of the time.The cover has intact seams/spine with slightest rub,there’s a little shelfwear but the front is really beautiful,inside the cover the silver and black colour left a bit of their colour on the other side(all copies have this,pl. look at the photo of the inner!),overall ex+.Both labels are perfect.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
