Description
Great 1960s Wayne Shorter LP entitled "Night Dreamer." This is on the Blue Note label BST 84173 (original STEREO pressing). This one is a little bit later 1960s Liberty pressing and it has the black labels with the aqua/blue company logo at the left. This has both the 'VAN GELDER' and 'STEREO' stampers in the trailoff area of both sides. Additional players on this LP are Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, Reginald Workman and Elvin Jones. Grading is as follows:
The vinyl is in very clean, good to very good (G to VG) condition with full gloss, a bit of general surface wear only, and it plays well! There are some 'ticks' and 'clicks' etc. but no skips and it is still a very enjoyable listen overall. I played both sides of this record with a regular Stanton stylus (tracked at 1.5 grams). Several very light, faint spindle marks on each of the labels.
The cover is a very sharp VG to VG+ and it displays very nicely overall!! There is a 2.5-inch seam split in the upper-right corner of the top seam edge, a small one-inch split in the lower-right corner of the bottom seam edge, and just a little very light surface rubbing/ringwear to the back side only as well. No tears, no creases, no writing, no stains, no cutout holes, no delete marks, etc.

Vinyl gradings are visual only, unless I specifically state otherwise. Please also see the other, similar items I currently have listed on Ebay; I do combine shipping.
All of my LPs are shipped in professionally-designed, heavy duty cardboard mailers with extra cardboard padding.
I personally write all of my own titles and descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself. I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.
Payment by PAYPAL ONLY....I do not accept any other form of payment. Unless the buyer makes a different arrangement with me, payment is expected within three days (72 hours) from the closing date of the item.
Buyer satisfaction and returns: Item must be returned to me in the same condition as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer.
Items are normally shipped within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of payment.
My vinyl and cover/sleeve gradings are as follows:
MINT: I do not use this grade except for sealed/unopened items.
NEAR MINT or MINT MINUS: Vinyl looks basically brand new, untouched, unplayed or nearly unplayed. Cover looks pretty much as new with no real flaws to speak of. This is basically how the item would have looked when it was new from the factory.
VG++: Very close to M-, with vinyl showing only the very slightest, most subtle signs of any past handling or play. Cover may show just the barest hint of wear from age, but nothing at all serious or detracting.
VG+: Vinyl shows some subtle signs that it was played in the past, but was generally well taken care of. Cover shows only some minor signs of age or wear, but nothing too detracting.
VG: Vinyl is beginning to show more obvious signs of past handling and play but still has strong sound quality overall. Cover is beginning to show more signs of age and wear, but is fully intact and still displays very well overall.
GOOD: Vinyl has very obvious signs of wear from over the years, but still plays strongly and enjoyably enough. Cover has obvious wear and tear from age, but is intact and still displayable.
***My very good and good records are very good and good, not bad and even worse! I also do not use the EX (excellent) grading at all.***
FAIR: Record wasn’t properly cared for in the past and very clearly shows it, but it is still playable and should be enjoyable enough for some. I rarely offer records in this condition.
