WATER INTO WINE BAND – HARVEST TIME – PRIVATE PRESSING
The band’s 1976 ultra-rare follow-up recording to their first album (Hill Climbing for Beginners), this Private Pressing catalogue no. CJT 002 was only issued to fans who ordered it at one of the band’s last gigs. After many delays it was not issued until 1977.
The group comprised Bill Thorp, Ray Wright, Pete McMunn, Trevor Sandford (voices and various instruments) together with Gari Williams (flute), George Caird (oboe), John Payne (clarinet), William Prince (horn) Jeremy Ward (bassoon) Dave Cooke (guitar) and Judy Mackenzie (vocals).
The tracks are: Wedding Song, Waiting For Another Day, Scottish Suite, Patience Is A Virtue, Moonglow, Harvest Time.
The disc has an unplayed appearance. The sleeve, not entirely matt but with only a very faint sheen – certainly not glossy – is in excellent clean condition but there is a light crease across bottom right corner.
