fantastic 2-sided bopper
"Bop Bop Baby" / "Don't Need Your Lovin Baby"
really rare 78 in VG++ shape
sounds awesome (much better than the 45 pendant which I also own...)
please note: record has a 2.5 inch V-shaped mark in the material
looks like a crack but isn't - it is like that for 20 years - probably since new I added another picture -
tried to get this spot on "film", which shows the "Don't Need..." - side
the mark is way less visible on the "Bop Bop Baby" side, and impossible to catch on picture
it does not affect play!
Still, I would not recommend to put this record in a jukebox
When Wade & Dick recorded this, Roy Orbison and his Teen Kings already stood in their tracks.
"Ooby Dooby" was recorded a mere 5 minutes after "Bop Bop Baby"!
It was a true magic day in the rich history of SUN Records.
Record will be shipped wrapped between two thick cardboard layers
in a big box with extra padding
