Description

This is a ten inch 78rpm gramophone or phonograph PICTURE record made by Vogue. Both sides are my The Bob Haggart Orchestra with Marion Mann doing "Between the Devil & The Deep Blue Sea" & "You Took Advantage of Me" on R731.

Vogue Picture Discs were made in USA at the end of the forties & were very popular because of their amusing & high quality artwork, usually in full colour. Most are collected for this aspect & not the music & indeed I've never tried to play it although it is fairly scuff & scratch free. One side is a bit yelloweeee which is common to Vogues but the record generally if in really fine shape.
