Violent Tumor 45 RPM Record
This 45 has been stored upright in a plastic sleeve since it was given to me. I'm NOT an expert at grading the condition of records; from what I can tell, it's in VG+ condition. I recorded it after playing it about 10 times, and it's been in storage ever since. Ask questions... again, I am not an expert.
The record itself has some very minor surface abrasions, but no skips and very, very little 'crackle'. The center label is essentially flawless. The sleeve has some very light wear and yellowing.
On the inner blank part of the plastic on the A side: "DRINK BASKET CASE BEER"; B side: "SKIN HEADS SING IN NUKE RAIN".
The back story of this particular copy: I lived in Los Angeles in 1986; we regularly attended fIREHOSE shows downtown at a venue I cannot recall the name of. One evening, I was approached by a very excited guy who handed me the record and told me that I "had to hear this band"; it turns out that the guy was Howard Kirby, and he crossed out the "Tumor Line" phone number and wrote his local number beneath. I'm not sure why he starred Arnold Keeter's name. I was a rabid collector of LA punk at the time, and I immediately loved the songs. I played it a few times, I recorded it, and I put it in a sleeve. I never called the number.
That's the end of the story.
