Description
Vinyl LP by Gracious - "Gracious" - 1970 LP,UK issue,Vertigo large swirl label. Vertigo 6360 002,first pressing matrix endings 1Y//1>420, 2Y//1>420, in textured gatefold cover.
Band Line-up: Paul Davis,Martin Kitcat,Alan Cowderoy,Tim Wheatley and Robert Lipson.
The cover is generally very good with a sound white textured sleeve that has become slightly grubby over the years with a little light foxing,the edges and corners are moderately worn,the spine is worn but still legible,inside picture is very good with just storage wear and 3 or 4 marks.
The disc is generally good,there is a surface mark over the end of side 2,track 2,there are a couple of pressing dimples on side 1,labels have light foxing marks.The quality of sound varies from occasionally excellent to poor,there is some very noticeable crackle at the beginning of both sides,continuing in varying degrees(though side 2 is better in this respect).There are significant patches of distortion on both sides ,some protracted .Whilst there are hairline scratches,there seem tobe no sounding ones or jumps,a few pops on both sides.
