As an influential kanun player, Terzian was deeply embedded in the world of Turkish classical and folk music. His work in managing the recording contracts for various artists helped shape the catalog of RCA Victor in Turkey, which featured a mix of popular and classical Turkish music. Terzian was key in bringing many well-known Turkish musicians, such as Safiye Hanim and Udi Hrant Kenkulian, to the international stage through RCA Victor's recordings. His efforts contributed to the preservation and global distribution of Turkish music during a pivotal era of its history.
