Test Pressing - One-Of-A-Kind!!!
You have just found an extremely rare item. In fact, this is the only one that exists in the world!!! Up for bids is the "test pressing" for the Verne Miesner LP recording, Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne! This comes from the recording studio that this record was made at. When an LP was put into production, a "test pressing" was always provided prior to the production run. This allows the artist to sign off on or okay the production of thousands of records based on what the test pressing sounds like. Prior to the initial manufacture of "Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne" by Verne Meisner, the factory provided this test pressing. Verne, his son Steve, and the studio engineers all listened to this test pressing and then authorized the factory to produce the initial 1,000 vinyl LPs. Because this is a test press, it does not have a label nor is their a record jacket. Only the vinyl LP is provided. This test pressing sounds exactly like all of the other records and will hold up just as well. This is not an acetate that will wear down quickly. This is an actual vinyl LP from the same pressing plant and record press that was used for this recording. It has sat, un-played, on the shelf until now. Here is your chance to get a piece of history! Own the actual test press and also be able to listen to the now out of print, vinyl LP recording of Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne, Verne. There can be no others. This is the only one like it in the world!
This record was originally released in the late 1980s and is a great Verne Meisner, polka recording with a variety of music including Santa Lucia By Night, Waltz #3, Grand Avenue Polka, Memories of Our Love, Waltz Across Texas, Uncle Otto's Polka, Cantina, Down From The Mountain, Cherokee Maiden, Wish Me A Rainbow, Doreen Waltz, and If I Had My Way Polka. The record number is HG-5042 and is in good condition. Don't miss this chance for not only a rare find from the the late Verne Meisner, but a one-of-a-kind item as well.
