Velvet Underground and Nico: same

Rare original STEREO press with the TORSO sticker on the backcover

Fantastic US album, a milestone in the history of rock music. The top part of the banana has been peeled and has the often seen split on the stem in two places, but still 100% intact. Banana has a few wrinkles and has been peeled. The cover is nice but and has little wear, mostly on the seam. Overall the cover looks white and shinny with only a little browning. Vinyl is close to perfect, but the third track on side one: Femme Fatale has a little mark, that causes some repeated "clicks" for around 14 rotations. Besides that the vinyl is NM. The sound is always a bit distorted and rusty on this LP, but this is how it is meant to sound like. This copy is playing very enjoyable besides the mentioned scuff on the third track. Both cover and vinyl are between VG++ and EX

GRADING

There is nothing more irritating than buying an LP which is overgraded (about half of the LPs I have bought via Ebay has been overgraded.) so I try to grade as accurate as possible both visual and (mostly) audible and describe any flaws on the record. I grade under a 100W light bulb or sunlight. For playgrading I use my Gyro Deck turntable fitted with a Benz Micro MC pick up. If there is any dissatisfaction with any LP there is off course a moneyback warranty.

M-: Perfect copy, the copy that looks like it was bought yesterday and only have been played a few times.

EX: This has been played but still a very satisfying copy that would please most collectors. No scratches or coverwear, LP plays without any problem, as good as perfect in fact many dealers M- is what I would call EX       

VG++: This copy has been played and cover has some wear but still a very good copy that should satisfy most people except the MINT puritans

VG+: This is a played copy, plays with some clicks and background noise. But still the music should be the central part. Cover has ring wear but still not a torn cover or anything.

VG: This is a more used copy with some scratches and clicks, no stops or skips though, cover has heavy wear.
