Description

If you're looking at this auction you probably already know what this piece is, how cool it is, and how rare it is to find one. It pictures Lou circa 1966. The audio is that of a party at the factory and features Nico blathering about the first Velvet Underground album as it plays in the background. (Never thought about which mix of the album can be heard, but I'm sure someone out there could tell us.) In any case, this disc was included in Andy Warhol's Index book in 1967 and is a very rare entry in the early Velvet Underground discography. I played it one time about 13 years ago, so I know that it does indeed play, though I don't recommend it. Record is in decent shape for its age, with some creasing due to its card board composition, but nothing major. Displays very nicely and looks absolutely killer on a stand in your record room. Upper left corner is a little dinged and the piece overall is slightly yellowed, but it is forty years old. I'll ship to Europe, but write me for shipping and I'll figure it based on which corner of the world you inhabit.
