VERY RARE!  1979, Vanity Records  (Vanity 0004)  Made in Japan.

Vanity Records was a pioneering label that produced Very LTD EDITION LPs, Eps and cassettes featuring some of Japan’s original neo-electronic artists doing experimental ambient, techno and avant/wave bands.

The label was founded by Yuzuru Agi chief editor of "Rock Magazine" who was considered to be the person who coined the name “Techno Pop”. The Vanity label founded in Spring 1978 was the first Japanese indie label for "Modern Music". A Special Edition of “Rock Magazine” in 1979 stated the labels intent: “We will produce: (1) Electronic Music (2.) ”Music as Furniture" series (Modernistic Music) (3) Invitation to Kayo-kyoku sounds (4.) Music with an experimental new vision (Punk, New Wave, Free, Modernistic) sounds.”

The LPs offered here represent most of the label's releases before it stopped production in the early 1980’s.
All are INCREDIBLY RARE  today!

LP is sent in a sturdy, professionally made LP mailer and additional packaging is done to try to insure safest delivery.
