VOGUE PICTURE RECORDS

VOGUE TWO DISC PICTURE SET 1946/7 ORIGINAL 78rpm RECORDS LABEL #R739 & R740 WITH ORIGINAL VOGUE BOX IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Includes feet in original cellophane bag!! This is the scarcer INTERMEDIATE Set!

NICE GLOSS, BRIGHT COLORS, NO SPINDLE MARKS; APPEARS UNPLAYED VERY NICE SET-Just some storage scuffing to records and some splitting to rear binder edge! Last picture shows some BARELY VISIBLE discoloration to small spot in binding-Probably old sticker. SEE PICS!

Vogue Picture Records were produced by Sav-Way Industries of Detroit, Michigan. The first 10 inch Vogue Picture (catalog number R707) was released to the public in May 1946. Production ceased less than a year later in April 1947, with Sav-Way entering into receivership in August 1947. During this time approximately 74 different 10 inch Vogue Records were released. Each illustration has an R number or Catalog number printed on it ranging from R707-R786. There are gaps in the sequence, not all of the 80 possible catalog numbers were used. (From Association of Vogue Picture Collectors)
