Description

This V.I.P.s 7" vinyl record is a very rare hard to find single that any collector would love to have. The record label is Island and the catalogue number is WIP-6005. The vinyl matrix number is A-1 B-1 and the record size is 7". The record grading is Near Mint (NM or M-), making it a highly sought-after piece.


Released in 1967, this single features the song "Straight Down To The Bottom" and was composed by Jimmy Miller. The ‘B’ Side is ‘In a Dream’ written by Jackie Edwards. The style is blues rock and the record is in mono with a speed of 45 RPM. This is a first edition, first pressing and comes with the original pink die cut company cover. The sleeve grading is Good Plus (G+) with a lot of wear, and the disc material is vinyl. This rare piece is from the United Kingdom. The band changed its name to ‘Art’ later in 1967 releasing the psychedelic LP ‘Supernatural Fairy Tales’ in the same year. It featured later Spooky Tooth member Mike Harrison.
