We are happy and delighted to be back on Ebay after our six week absence. We experienced tornado damage and we are now up and running again. Thanks to all of our wonderful customers for their patience during this time. We really appreciated it.
Recently acquired at an estate sale is this vintage 45 record carrying case. This is the Platter-Pak No. 704 case manufactured by Amberg in Kankakee, Illinois. The case was made to resemble a pair of pants. It is made out of heavy cardboard and the outside portion is covered with a cloth like material. I'm not sure exactly how many 45's the case will hold but I am listing the measurements. The case stands 8" high, 8" wide and has a depth of 4 3/4". The condition of the case is good for its age and has been well taken care of. There are some small stains on the top portion from moisture. The handle, which needs a good cleaning, is in good shape and hinges and metal fastener work perfectly. There are a couple of small light scratches scattered on the material and has slightly worn corners. The inside portion is very clean and has no tears in the cardboard. Overall, very nice and very clean!
