Here's a rarity of unstinting quality for the most discerning hi-fi and/or record collector. This is quite possibly the highest-quality portable phonograph ever built. For starters, there's the reknown Dual 1010 with heavy die-cast platter, 33/45/78 speeds, pitch contol, and cycle mute...worthy of the finest vintage home hi-fi installations, but really exceptional for a portable phonograph. The entire case...for both the main unit and speakers is crafted of genuine wood (looks like teak to us). The precision of the cabinet construction (especially the fine grill slats) is very impressive. Heavy-duty speakers with performance that defies their size are cleverly engineered to hold the turntable in place during transit via heavy plastic covers over their large magnet assemblies. Spindles included are: auto-stack for LPs, short LP (for single play), auto-stack for 45s, and short 45 (for single play). Multi-voltage operation is indicated as 110/150/220 on the back of the unit. Each speaker measures approx. 15.75" long, 6.5" high, and 3.5" deep. Entire closed unit measures approximately 15.75" wide, 13" deep, and 7.25" high. Operation is flawless...but this unit is sold as-is and as-shown due to its age. In sum...exquisite! Insured S&H to any US destination for $50.
