Recorded at Radiobeat in Boston by Jimmy Dufour. Rumour has it that this record was originally meant to be released on Radiobeat but wasn't because of some of the "questionable" lyrical content.

About Vile and this record (from web sources) :

"A relatively unknown band to most, but legendary for their notorious "Solution" LP. The story goes that the band was so hated that to piss people off they would put their LPs under people's windshield wipers after their shows, or throw them in the crowd at shows. Good luck ever finding a copy! There were only 300 pressed circa '82-'83 and you have to figure a lot of them were destroyed by angry fans. As for the music, they had the typical old Boston HC sound like the FU's or Jerry's Kids, which makes them automatically good. The main reason the record was so hated was because of some extreme right wing lyrics some of the songs contained. You have to hear it to believe it."

And apparently, "alot of them were thrown off a bridge into a river" ... ?!

Record is Mint minus side A; VG++++ side B. Jacket is VG to VG+ having some wear along edges (no split seams), light ringwear and soiling/staining on back (see scan - it's very accurate in showing the degree of damage).

I am a fussy grader - this is an excellent, absolutely original copy - undisturbed in the stacks for 20+ years. Selling this should keep the cats fed for a couple months!

Please add $8 for insured US shipment, $12 overseas (uninsured), for insurance or registered mail overseas, figure at least $12 more.

Yes, this is same record I had up for auction a few weeks back. Deal fell thru because cost of insured overseas shipping is very high - more than $25 - actual cost! Be forewarned!
