There is not one self-respecting DJ in the world that does not want this to be part of his or her collection of rare and hard to find funk and jazz records. This is the real deal here: Ziad Rahbani's attempt to 'funkify' Arabic music: a rather dull and monotonous music if played by the classicals.
This here is the holiest of all holy grails in the vinyl world all over: Abu Ali is a musical reinterpretation of some of Ziad's own mother (Fairuz) earlier musical plays (Namely; Mais Al-Rim). The record is absolutely clean and I couldn't find a single scratch on its vinyl; not even a little one under strong light and a magnifier ('optical grading'). The sleeve is also strong if a bit frail due to maybe mis-storage, but it has little or no frills and tears, except on top with a small tear that is negligible.
Get this record! It's the best ever!
