BEATLES HAND OPERATED RECORD
FIRST CHRISTMAS RECORD
HOLLAND RELEASE
VERY RARE
This is a Holland fan club item that was released in promotion for a subsequent album of all the Christmas fan club 45s. It contains excerpts from The Beatles first fan club Christmas record.
The record is attached to sheet of cardboard. The cardboard has a flap that flips up and has a gramophone type needle attached to it. You place the needle on the record, place your finger in the divot on the record, and turn it by hand.
The record comes in an envelope that has English text on it.
On the outer part of the flap is written:
onze soundorama spreekmachine spreekt voor zichzelf which translates to: our soundorama speakmachines speak for themselves.
On the inside:

naald op de buitenste groef van de grammofoonplaat zetten put the needle on the outer groove of the record
uw vinger in het dopje plaatsen put your finger in the divot

versnel of vertraag het toerental tot u een duidelijke weergave heft accelerate or slow down the speed to give you a clear reproduction.
The envelope is a little yellowed from age and has a couple of creases. The end is torn as seen in photo. The record is nice and shiny with catalogue number SHOL 3254.
