Depending on who you ask this might be an early version of The Beach Boys' "Surf's Up," or simply a reel that engineer Steve Desper compiled of leftover songs the group had the day after the release of the album "Sunflower."
Either way, this is an amazing "import" from The Beach Boys that sounds incredible. The alternate mixes of Big Sur and Tears in the Morning are great, but it's the 7:28-long extended alternate mix of "'Til I Die" that makes this album worth the price of admission. It's absolutely stunning, and I don't believe it's on any other album out there.
This record has only been played once on a high-end turntable and is in Near Mint condition.
