Description
VERY RARE 1958 45RPM R'N'R SINGLE - SAM BUTERA - "BIM BAM" - CAPITOL 45-CL14913. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail Special Delivery. This copy has a knocked out centre suggesting it might originally have been in a Juke Box, however it has not been played as much as might be expected, possibly because it would not have been a well known disc at the time. I have graded it as VG+ because of this but actually it plays as an EX graded record. There are light surface scruff marks that are only superficial. Both sides are great examples of Fifties material, the B side, "Twinkle in your eye" was written by Louis Prima and Keely Smith. Correct company sleeve for its issue included. Sound output is crisp and clear, it has been in my collection for twenty plus years. Both side have been checked and played in full at sufficiently loud volume, using a Citronic Pro PD1-s direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amp and Sonus Faber speakers.
