Zustandsbeschreibung :
Ich versuche meine Platten korrekt einzustufen, dazu benutze ich die unten aufgeführten Bewertungsstufen. 

M (Mint) (-)
Die Platte und das Cover sind in jeder Beziehung, optisch und akustisch, in einem neuwertigen Zustand.

VG (Very Good) (+/-)
Die Platte ist gespielt und weist leichte Fremdgeräusche auf. Haarkratzer sind vorhanden, jedoch kaum hörbar. Das Cover weist leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen auf.

G (Good) (+/-)
Die Platte ist wiederholt abgespielt worden. Hörbar sind Fremdgeräusche wie leichte Kratzer oder durch wiederholtes Abspielen entstandenes Grundrauschen. Dennoch ist eine mit G eingestufte Platte noch gut abspielbar. Das Cover weist deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen auf - kleine Risse oder Farbflecken, Tinte, Stempel, Klebebandspuren, Restaurierungsspuren durch Filz- oder Farbstifte etc.

W (Worn)
Mit dieser Qualitätsstufe beginnen die schlechten Platten. Sie sind überdurchschnittlich abgespielt. Kratzer und Grundrauschen sind deutlich hörbar. Ein Cover dieser Qualität ist stark beschädigt, oftmals eingerissen oder stark verschmutzt durch Klebstoff, starke Flecken wasserfester Filzstifte und dergleichen mehr.

F (Fair)
Die Platte ist akustisch völlig ohne Wert, da sie praktisch nicht mehr abspielbar ist. Das Cover ist gerissen oder nur unvollständig erhalten.

RI = Nachpressung, SS = Noch in Folie versiegelt, WOC/L = Schrift auf dem Cover / Label, SOC/L = Aufkleber auf dem Cover / Label, CO = Cut-Out im Cover, FOC = Klappcover

Grading Scale:
I try to grade my records correct, I use the following grades described below. 

M (Mint) (-)
The disc and sleeve are visually and audibly in perfect, like new condition.

EX (Excellent)
I don´t use this grade in my auctions !

VG (Very Good) (+/-)
The record has been played and shows some light scratching. It may has barely audible crackle or surface hiss in places. The sleeve shows moderate wear when viewed closely.

G (Good) (+/-)
The record has been played frequently, this causes a fair amount of background noise and some scratches appear which may be audible (pops + clicks) more or less. The sleeve shows wear, small tears, stains, rips or small restorations with tape. Overall well playable and worth keeping.

W (Worn)
An excessively played record (at parties etc.). Heavy scratches may cause skips depending on equipment. High amount of moderate scratches and noise. The sleeve is heavily worn,

F (Fair)
Barely playable. Heavy noise with skips and jumps drowns the sound in most parts. The sleeve is torn or partly missing, may also show other damages of the above grades.  but complete. Large tears, heavy stains and restoration with felt pen and tape etc.
