LF 1299 on DECCA label. 1957 ten inch album "Stars Of Six-Five Special". Tracks are: Six-Five Special/The Bob Cort Skiffle, Smack Dab In The Middle/Wee Willie Harris, This Train/George Melly, This Is The Night/Terry Dene, Diggin' My Potatoes/Lonnie Donegan, I Never Knew Just What A Girl Could Do/Chris Babrer's Jazz Band, Fraulein/The Worried Men, Swaller Tail Coat/Tommy Steele, Singing The Blues/Tommy Steele, Six-Five Special/Bob Cort Skiffle.
This terrific 10 inch album is in good condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has light surface scuffs and marks. These do not effect the play and there are no scratches. The labels show just light spindle marks and have no damage to or around the spindle holes. The side 1 label has two parts of a paper label that used to be stuck on it. These should come off with a good soaking. Side two is clean with no writing or marks.
The fully laminated cover with half moon flip over flaps in excellent condition. No rips, splits or tears except for a tiny 5 millimetre tear half way down the back opening edge. Lovely spine with no crushing. Lovely opening edges with no fraying. Some handling marks. A tiny section of laminate has peeled from the middle of the front edge.
Great rare 10 inch album.
