Description

VENABLE QUARTET, 60s RARE SOUTHERN GOSPEL LP, MEMORIES OF BOYHOOD, SWORD & SHIELD LABEL

Sword & Shield label, not sure exact date, think early ‘60s, vinyl condition is VG +, jacket is VG +. Has about a four inch split at bottom right. Twelve songs, total, including He Cares For You, This Old House, Sweeter As The Days Go By, I Want To Walk As Close As I Can, etc. Venable Quartet were all from Arkansas and based in Little Rock. We watched them on TV every night right after the news back in the ‘60s. Wonderful record, a real walk down Memory Lane!  Hope someone will enjoy it!
