Description
Extremely rare compilation album issued by a pub called the White Heart located in Dorking, Surrey, UK in 1982. This was a popular venue on the circuit at the time and paid host to a regular supply of rock bands including many NWOBHM acts. Then one day the owner had the bright idea of recording some of the acts for a compilation album sold at the venue and by the bands at their gigs. Features 12 acts and a broard spectrum of styles but of interest to NWOBHM fans is a great band called Callibre- plenty of loud guitar and primo NWOBHM moves all the way. Other bands are the prog metal of Slice, the heavy power pop NWOBHM English Roques and a sort of punk-metal crossover band called Rustic Nerve. Issued privately (a tiny pressing of just 500) on Rockworks [SRTX/82/CUS 1355], UK, 1982.
