VARIOUS ARTISTS - Reggae Desire (Magnet MGT001) - LP - 1974 Tracks: Gene Rondo - Pretty Blue Eyes, Gene Rondo - This Is Love, Gene Rondo - Oh Sweet Africa, Mr Harry - Sad Movies, Al Moodie - Magnet Skank, Magnet Allstars - Faithful Child, Mike Dorane - Foolish Fools, Mike Dorane - Dock Of The Bay, Jah Son - Dadda Prince, ??? - Negus (Instrumental), Gene Rondo - Mary Mary. Original pressing of the Various Artists LP Reggae Desire, released in 1974 on the Magnet label. A great collection of early UK roots, featuring Gene Rondo, Mike Dorane, Al Moodie, Mr Harry and Jah Son. The vinyl retains a decent sheen with light and lightish surface marks, plenty of fine, light hairlines and some light scratches and scuffs - nothing serious - see descriptions below and check-out the soundclip. Nice deep grooves, so both sides actually play better than they look. A-side: There is a very small / small improving to tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks plus a few more prominent ones. Grade - varies between VG and VG++, mostly VG+ B-side: There is a small improving to tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with very small, small and some smallish pops and clicks plus a few more prominent ones. Grade - varies between VG-/VG and VG++, mostly VG/VG+ Labels: There is a little general wear to both labels (see scan).

Cover: The cover has definitely seen better days!! There is a 17cm split to the spine with a small piece of the back cover missing, some wear to the edges, bumping to the corners, plenty of moderate creasing, plus a little writing, some staining and general discolouration to back cover.
