Description
It's been said that there were ONLY 250 copies of this Double-LP. Not sure if that is true but I would not be surprised. At any rate it is RARE - that's for sure. Catch some of the FIRE of VAN HALEN at their creative peak a few years after their DEBUT release when their energy and creative level was probably at its best - RAW WILD HEAVY METAL ROCK REJOICING IN THE SHEER JOY OF METAL ! A little research turned up another copy from back in 2008 on this site. Not too much on this RARE 2 LP set "The Good, the Bad & Van Halen" RECORDED LIVE ! JUNE 23, 1980 at the LONDON RAINBOW BALLROOM AND HAS A sweden address on back. I'd give the vinyls a high grade, with one side of the four not quite as impressive with scuffs. They all have a shine and the labels have NO spindle marks that I can detect, only the faintest of hairlines probably from the paper sleeves - A nice 2 LP set. With off-white inner sleeves. Cover consists of glued on slicks complete with ripples - in other words a human did it and not a machine - adding to the uniqueness and human element here - David would be proud ! I've posted multiple pics complete with ZOOM to offer a forthright representation of RARE Release - item as seen as is with the usual signs of being handled at the corners but NO seam splitting - No pen marks - NO stickers. Will ship ASAP in Protective Cardboard Mailer. Thanks.
