Description
You are bidding on a 2 sided, 10 inch acetate by an unknown soul acetate from the mid to late 1960s. One side is up-tempo possibly called “Good News In The Morning” while the other side is a slower songs, possibly called “Love Is A Strange Thing." Both sides play at 45 rpm. There is writing on one side of one of the labels simply “normal level.” I will grade this acetate VG++.
Since listing this item, I have learned that one side of this acetate is by a group called the Hytones (sometimes listed as Hy-Tones) and the song is called "Good News." There was a limited release version of this song in the UK on Kent but this appears to be a different take. In fact, you can hear the musicians counting off the songs in the studio on both sides of this acetate. I'm still not sure who the group on the other side is, possibly the Hytones, too but I'm not sure.
