Description

Released in 1971, this album is by Isle of Wight group, Shide and Acorn. They were a six piece band featuring guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and violin, with male and female singers. The music is in the psychedelic folk style, with Tolkien inspired lyrics. The album is extremely rare, being one of the original run of only 99 pressings and is in excellent condition. It is on the Solent Record Label, catalogue number: SM O11. It is valued in the current Record Collector Compendium at £450.
