UNKNOWN-45-Metal Acetate-“Movin” b/w “Love Will Find A Way”-Fine Records NO #-SAVAGE-Primitive-CRUDE 1966 Rochester, New York Garage-Punk. Found this back in the early 70’s at Fine Records Studios-no band name...this was reviewed in FUTURE MAGAZINE #5 as THE PAISLEY ZIPPER BAND...NOT the band name...still haven’t been able to ID over these past 30 or more years...Recording is CRUDE and primitive-STRAIGHT OUT OF THE GARAGE...Side 1 “Movin” is Vox Continental dominated Garage-Punk, gutteral lead vocals and somewhat like ‘Young Rascals Go Garage’ with a very sloppy Vox Continental organ lead break. Structure is based on “Get Ready” and has a sort of Sonics “He’s Waitin’”/Early Kinks Krunch rhythm...B side is KILLER! Trashy drums, dual-guitar-Vox Continental Garage-Punk, almost shouted lead vocal at times, really primitive...also a Killer and at the same time sloppy inept lead guitar break...really great and loose garage-punk. Obviously ONE copy of this exists-THIS IS IT!!! SUPER RARE!!! Condition: Record is difficult to grade-acetates in particular are hard to grade-G-minus possibly; lots of slight wear/surface scuffs visible in certain lihght angles... plays fine, but very noisy; primitive low-volume garage recording, so background noise is very loud, but plays fine...but is NOISY!
