Immensely rare Swedish psychedelia/underground. These guys were compadres with another equally obscure underground crew – MALARIA – which with their privately released eponymously record, encouraged UNDERGROUND FAILURE to do the same. It was recorded in one of the bandmember’s apartment on various occasions and 100 copies were finally released in 1971. Some of the members later formed the alternative label MUSIKLAGET, on which they re-released the album with a different artwork of an edition of 70 copies only. Up for auction is one of those copies and it originates from one of the bandmembers. Stunning condidtion and a once in a life time opportunity to grab this impossible to find Swedish Underground Artefact...s ci

COVER; the cover is in great nick with just a faint beginning of ringwear and a minor discoloration at parts. The pasted on papers on front and back respectively is nice with a little yellowing round the edges related to age. There are a few insignificant creases. This cover is graded as NEAR MINT with the aforementioned minor defects mentioned.

VINYL; the vinyl shows great lustre with one or two insignificant paperscuffs. When I rechecked, I almost couldn’t them. Incredible and clearly graded visually as NEAR MINT. There is some minor distant crackle and a few occasional small pops during playback. Nothing too intrusive at all, as these minor defects most probably originates from the fact that this is a Lo-fi recording and not the best pressing. Aurally graded as NEAR MINT.

LABELS; the label on side A is very clean with no visible signs of use. The label on side B has two small marks near the centrehole, which probably originates from the pressing procedure. It is most likely to believe that this copy only has been played a handful of times. Very Nice.

EXTRA; photocopy (made by one of the bandmembers, who re-inked some words which were’t copied properly) of the original booklet is included.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. MY GRADING IS STRICT and winning bidder ALWAYS has full refund minus shipping costs! PLEASE E-MAIL IF ANY CONCERNS! THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
