Condition:

I use the Goldmine rating guideline as a reference when describing record and cover (jacket) condition. Most records are cleaned on my VPI machine, played on a premium turntable and any imperfections found are duly noted - I am not trying to hide anything. I am open, honest and conservative on my rating and, because of that, will usually understate the condition.

Shipping and Packing:

I usually use Ebays' Shipping Calculator on my listings. I have found that it is easy to use and a fair method for my buyers. The rates are based on weight from past auctions and include the cost of a new box or bubble mailer that I use to ship - all I am trying to do is cover my costs. I use Media Mail in the USA and Airmail Letter Post Internationally. Other methods may be used at a buyers request or because of the lot size and postal limitations. Options, such as insurance, registry, etc. are available upon request.

For my protection, a Certificate of Mailing will be required on all International and some Domestic shipments on lots of $25.00 or more. If used, a charge of $.95 (95 cents) will be added to the invoice for this service.

My records are shipped in a plastic sleeve, enclosed in a packing material of some sort, inserted in a new box or bubble mailer and properly taped. I will use recycled boxes for larger or unique shipments. Lots are usually shipped within 24 hrs. of payment, unless a waiting period is necessary for clearance.

All sales are final, so it is advised to option for insurance, where available, for large or very expensive items; as I cannot be responsible for losses or damages beyond my control.

Combined Auctions:

I am more than willing to combine auctions, so buyers can save on shipping costs. However, it is unfair for a buyer to ask me to hold onto an item for an extensive amount of time; after all I list items almost daily and the process could go one for a long time. With this in mind, I request that combined shipments do not exceed 7 days. After that point an invoice will be generated for all lots purchased since the first one. Also, because I issue an invoice within 24 hrs. of an ended auction, it is critical that a buyer inform me of a wish to combine lots immediately after an auction closes - after all I don't read minds and many of my buyers are only buying one lot. If you follow these guidelines we both will have a satisfying auction experience.

Thanks and Good Luck!
