Description
VINYL is VG+ on this hard to find true RL Ludwig pressing. Side one visually is EX, but has a light amount of background noise mostly at the opening of the side. Side 2 plays EX but has a blotchy scuff (see close up). Most of the LP plays EX with fantastic sonics. In fact, I have had several of these over the years and this seems to be the punchiest of them all. With Zeppelin being my favorite all time band, right after taking it out of the cleaning room, I put up Bring it On Home 1st, and crank it. Where the harmonica intro goes into Jimmy's guitar and Bonham's hammering drums is what I base the punch factor on....and this one was amazing. Light to moderate play on this one...if you can get by with a couple of imperfections, don't hesitate to jump on it. It is not perfect, but its not $400-$600 either.
ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve. It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked! Ready to enjoy for years to come.
