ULTIMATE PREDATOR - RARE RESIN MODEL SUPER EDGE JAPAN - The extraterrestrial hunter known as the Predator has been a favorite subject of garage kit producers for 20 years now, largely due to the fact that it is one of the most unique movie monster designs ever created.  

Perhaps you possess some of the fine model figures released on the Predator.  Whichever you have, you could toss them all away if you had this one... it's the original Predator released five years ago by Super Edge of Japan, and it's hard to think of a more powerful rendition of the character.



Sculpted with infinite precision by Takashi Shiraiwa, the proportions are dead-on, the detailing is exquisite, and the base is as terrific as the figure it supports.  The head has an intricate scaly skin texture, fine wrinkling, intense, deep-set eyes, clenched mandibles that are truly hideous, and a 'living' flow to the dredlocks.  His trophies are so well crafted, they appear to be the actual bleached bones of miniature creatures.  All armor and weaponry is machine-tool tight, and the netting is crisp and precise.  He's posed mid-stride, atop a rock pile base, stepping over the remains of a dead Alien who must have gotten blasted in battle.



Of course, he's packing his shoulder cannon, those deadly wrist blades, and comes with his armored mask, which fits perfectly over his hideous face for a more ominous display option.  Assembled, the figure itself is just over 12" tall, and mounted on his base (which is 6" in diameter approx.) is 14 1/4" tall.  The kit is damn near flawlessly cast in solid ivory resin, with all parts cleanly keyed for a perfect fit and simple build.  Please know, that this is one of Super Edge's earliest castings of the kit, purchased in Japan when it was first released, and was simply called "Predator" on the box label.  (Later, the Edge released the model with different box art, calling the kit, "Hunter of Darkness.")

This amazing model is in mint condition; complete, unbuilt, and in its original box, with illustrated instruction sheet, and two color photos of the completed kit.  Predator kits come and go, but the serious collectors know that you just can't beat Super Edge efforts.  This exceptional resin wonder is just dying to be bought to life with a proper paint job.  So, if the rendering of such a masterpiece intimidates you, contact us, as we will professionally finish him to killer standards... quickly and painlessly, guaranteed!
